About Pourdle
The daily pouring game
Pourdle is a free daily game about one simple question: how well can you judge volume by eye?
Every day there are five new glasses, each with an order like "fill to 63%". The glasses have no markings, so you have to read their shape and stop the pour where you think the line is. Everyone in the world gets the same five glasses on the same day, so you can compare scores with your friends, challenge them with a link, or start a weekly league.
Who makes it
Pourdle is made by Alex, an independent developer from Poland. It started as a small experiment after noticing how hard it is to pour exactly half a glass, and it grew from there: more glass shapes, special "twist" glasses like lava and ketchup, an archive of past days, and leagues for playing with friends.
There's no company behind it and no investors, just one person building a game they enjoy, with help from players' feedback. If you're curious about the idea behind it, read why your eyes lie about glasses.
How the daily puzzle works
- A new set of five glasses arrives every day at midnight, in your own time zone.
- Each glass gets one try. You can top up, but you can't pour water out.
- A perfect pour scores 100, and every 1% off costs 5.5 points, so the best possible day is 500.
- About one glass a day has a twist, such as a turbo tap or a rush order. See every twist.
- Missed a day? Every past puzzle is in the archive.
How Pourdle is paid for
Pourdle is free and always will be, and you never need an account. To cover hosting costs, it may show a small number of ads from Google AdSense. The game itself doesn't use cookies; the ads may, as explained in the privacy policy, which also lists exactly what the game collects.
