Who we are

Pourdle is a free daily browser game at pourdle.app. You can contact us at [email protected].

Information stored on your device

Your game progress, scores, streaks, achievements and settings (like sound on or off) are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. This information is not sent to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for pourdle.app.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they use. It does not use cookies, does not track you across websites and does not identify you personally. We only see totals, such as page views, country, device type and the website that referred you.

To make the game fairer and more fun, we also record anonymous gameplay events with PostHog, hosted in the EU (Frankfurt). For example: a round was started or finished, the score for each glass, whether the result was shared, and simple settings like night mode. These events use no cookies and no lasting ID: each visit gets a random, throwaway identifier, so we cannot link your visits together or tell who you are. PostHog receives your IP address when an event is sent, and we have set it to discard it rather than store it. See PostHog's privacy policy.

Error reports

If the game runs into an error on your device, your browser sends us a short technical report so we can fix it: the error message, which page it happened on, your browser type, your screen size and your country. It contains no personal information and is deleted after 30 days.

Hosting

Pourdle is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver the site and protect it from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical information about each request, such as your IP address and browser type. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Feedback and emails

If you send us feedback or email us, we receive your message, your email address and any device details you choose to include. We use these only to reply and to improve the game, and we will delete them if you ask.

Advertising

Pourdle is free to play and is supported by ads served by Google AdSense. To show and measure ads, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies and may collect information such as your IP address, device type and the pages you visit.

Pourdle itself does not set cookies. The only third-party cookies come from the advertising described above. We do not load social media plugins, and our fonts are hosted on our own site.

Children

Pourdle is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not ask for or knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Because we do not keep accounts or store your game data on our servers, there is usually nothing for us to access or delete. For data collected by Google for advertising, use the Google links above. If you have emailed us and want that message deleted, or have any privacy question, contact [email protected].
